Biosecurity is of critical importance to all horse enthusiasts, regardless of what sector you are a part of.
At present, a lot of policy decisions around bio-security are based on an assumption that (apart from race and harness horses) that people keep their horses on their own properties.
We know that there are many thousands of people who agist or stable their horses on other properties.
This survey aims to increase our (the AHIC's) knowledge of this currently under represented sector of the equine community and industry.
